Bring on the skeptics...
SO I have no control over what I can bill for services... or more realistically what I can collect for my services. The government says I get 1500 for a knee replacement, so be it. Aside from that, the cost of collecting what I am rightfully do is increasing. Inflation is going up, Insurance going up, reimbursements going down, staffing up and fixed costs up... what is an orthopedist to do?
Problem is... I LOVE what I do. I honestly do. I told the interviewers at medical school when I applied for admission that I wanted to help people... and I meant it. I will always be involved in medicine and I will always try my best to treat my patients and ease their pain. But I am now turning to other means to generate income that will not add to the cost of providing care...eg. MRI machines, DME, etc.
I have looked at many businesses and I have become an Agel distributor and could not have been happier. The business model is easy to understand and execute. The compensation plan is more than reasonable and the start up costs are very low . We are growing wonderfully in NY; and expanding nationally and internationally.
Check it out... tell me what you think. You want to see the dog and pony show .
Interested in what everyone else is doing?
