Hello…

These are trying times. Despite being in your home, you can still “see” your doctors.  I have been an Orthopedic knee and shoulder surgeon for 20 years.  I am looking forward to learning new and innovative ways to continue to be able to care for you, even if you are home and can’t travel to our office.

Face it… you still have questions about your knee, elbow or shoulder during a time of social distancing. You should still be able to “meet” with your doctor.  Now you can!

Starting March 24, 2020, I will be utilizing a telehealth platform to stay in touch and to address your questions about your Orthopedic Surgery needs.

I will be using Doxy.me to perform these telehealth or virtual visits.

You provide us with a cell phone number or an email address. You can use your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

You will not need to download or install any software on your phone, tablet or computer.

How to schedule a telehealth/virtual visit with Howard Luks MD

For now, the options to schedule a visit will be to:

  1. contact my office at 914-789-2735 to schedule the appointment.
  2. You can use ZocDoc so that you can book your visit online.

At the time of your visit, you will then receive a text or email from us.  Click on the link in the text or on your computer and you will be brought into the waiting room. As I get used to this I may be a little delayed.

These instructions and workflows might change… and I will try to update this page accordingly.
