  • LOL, love your attitude, Howard! I *just* wrote a post on changing your perspective.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day…we need little reminders to keep us in check.

  • Love it , Howard! Perspective is everything. Katie just wrote a blog on this http://www.kbkcommunications.com/perspective/
As I was complaining this morning about the bad storm I was anticipating driving through, my son called from Main. He had a layover on his way to Iraq for his deployment. I thought, really Jan? Really????

BTW, in the picture on the blog, SGT Fassl (my baby) is wearing a black Stetson. This honor is only bestowed on 1st CAV members who have served in a war zone. So if you ever see one in an airport, thank them. ;)

I miss the days of painted walls, spilled milk, scraped knees. Enjoy, it goes by quickly!

  • Well done. Although, it wasn’t what I thought you were going to say. I thought you were going to say that she painted on the wall. Then, show a picture of her wall painting that said, “I love my dad.” That would definitely add some perspective as well.

  • “Perspective matters!”

Definitely correct. Life is a temporary gift, and if we spend our time living on anger, frustrations, hate and other negative emotions, we will never see the beauty of life, eh. Indeed, with right perspective, it is very right to live. :)

  • Loved this post! You are very lucky to have a daughter . . . and one who is inspired to paint :)

Thank you for the reminder. I am reminded daily because I am simply still here :)

    All the best,

    GRATEFULLY, currently NED,
